Rebecca is a theatre maker, multi-disciplinary aerialist and tutor specialising in rope, straps, doubles trapeze and redefining storytelling standards. After beginning her circus career at Greentop circus in Sheffield, she moved her training to Gravity in London. Taking her bright eyes and big afro to new heights she began her career with standout performances as part of Hive City Legacy (part of the Australian Brief factory collective), Mimbre's Fierce Sisters and Sisterhood of the Ring, all shows focusing on identity.

Focusing on the creation of theatre, she has been a successful recipient of the Jerwood New Work Fund and Victoria Work Bursary with the creation of her first show Second-Hand Child. Integrating puppetry and aerial, she brings to life a story of finding identity without a history, all whilst defying gravity.

This bodacious boss uses her time as a swing dance sensation to inspire showgirl antics. Joining the ranks of Swing Sister Swing, she has been part of English Heritage's 75th VE day anniversary celebration as well as the self titled show, bringing story back into the swing.

Back in Sheffield now, Rebecca enjoys making plasticine stop motions, and being an over feeder.
